Cipher Machine

Cipher machine and cracking code.

KS2 Design and technology. WW2 History.
Inspire by the Enigma machine at Bletchley Park this is a great design and technology workshop.
In groups of 3 the children will come up with a design for making a working cipher machine. We will send and decode messages. We discover which Letter of the alphabet occurs most in a paragraph and crack secret messages using our machines.
