Electric racing car challenge.



This workshop is for KS2 classes. The children will design and build their own formula E racing car. We talk about the future of the motor industry, how driving electric vehicles impacts the environment in a positive way.

The Children will work in groups of 3, and build an electric Lego racing car, they will build a power train and build their car around it. Once the cars are all built we race them either outside on the play ground or in the hall. (weather dependent)

We record the time the cars take to travel a set distance, with the collected data we can calculate how long it will take their cars to travel a kilometer.
