Gears and Friction.
In this workshop we can cover what different cogs do to the gearing of a vehicle. The children build a simple vehicle for speed, then we change the gearing to make it go slowly.
In this workshop we can include:
Gear Ratio, Maths, Design, Technology, Fair tests. Building a product to a design criteria.
